The notion of spending a whole term away from your school, your friends and your family may seem daunting at first. But overwhelmingly, students who participate in a term away or exchange program speak fondly of the experience, for they make many new friends, learn about a new culture, and strengthen their foreign language skills.

For those who participate in exchange programs, you will live with a host family, and then host the student at your home and in your school. Often, even the parents of both students become great friends.

The school year also offers many opportunities for enriched learning and volunteer opportunities. In addition, there are many Christmas and spring break programs in which you can participate outside your school.
