Our vision is to encourage as many high school graduating students to take a gap year and complete at least one other leadership development program.

Our mission is to:

• help develop the leadership skills of students through experiential programs;
• help youth access leadership opportunity programs easily, and share their program experiences;

We know that we can only achieve this mission of becoming a valuable resource for youth, parents, teachers and counselors for exploring youth leadership opportunities through active participation. The role of independent school associations in promoting this initiative on an ongoing basis, the Working Group managing this project, and of course, youth, parents, teachers and consellors who will both provide and access information, are vital to the success of this online resource.
